These fairly traded, biodegradable, eco-balloons are made from latex. It's organic and made from the sap of rubber trees. It doesn't hurt trees, it's a harmless tapping process similar to that used for collecting maple sap for syrup. These balloons decompose at approximately the same rate as an oak leaf!
