We deliver our products using good old snail mail, and aim to have your goods delivered to your door within 5-7 working days from the date of your order. If you need something in a hurry you can request special delivery at the check out, and this enhanced price will whisk your purchases off to you at the speed of a gazelle! All Prices are in GBP Sterling.
Please let us know prior to placing your order, either by email or telephone, or at the time of placing your order if you have a party date, and we will make all possible attempts to get your order to you in good time.
OUR POSTAGE AND PACKAGING PRICES
We want to price our postage and packaging as fairly as possible and in doing so, our prices may change periodically to represent the true costs of this service. All changes in prices will be notified on this site, please check periodically for changes.
We base our postage and packaging prices on the value of an order to take into account size of package as well as weight:
Goods to the value of £5.00 P&P Cost: £3.95
Goods from the value of £5.01 to £25.00 P&P Cost: £4.95
Goods from the value of £25.01 to £50.00 P&P Cost: £6.95
Goods from the value of £50.01 to £75.00 P&P Cost: £8.95
Goods from the value of £75.01 upwards Free of Charge
SPECIAL DELIVERY OPTION: PLEASE ADD £3.00 TO EACH QUOTED COST i.e £6.50, £6.95, £8.95 and £10.95
The free of charge option for goods exceeding the value of £75.00 is not a special delivery option.
We’re sorry, but at the current time we only deliver to addresses within Mainland UK, although sometime soon we may take the rest of the world by storm!
If you live within a ten mile radius of our business address, private arrangements may be made regarding delivery. Please contact us by email prior to placing the order if this applies to you.
On the odd occasion where postal costs do not reflect the true cost of postage and packaging, any additional funds generated will be donated to our biannual treeplanting events.
When you place an order with us for the bespoke bunting, the cost of posting the materials to Green Apples and Elephants shall be bourne by the customer, and Green Apples and Elephants can not accept responsibility for these items whilst in the postal system.
When an order is placed for a bespoke banner, if the customer chooses to provide some materials of their own, the cost of posting the materials to Green Apples and Elephants shall be bourne by the customer, and Green Apples and Elephants can not accept responsibility for these items whilst in the postal system. We suggest that you request a proof of posting.
CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE
A full delivery address including postcode must be provided for all deliveries.
Please include your telephone number in order for us in case of queries.
If a signature is required, in the case of special delivery, please make attempts to have someone available to receive the delivery during daytime hours.
If you wish your package to be left with a neighbour or in a safe place please leave instructions when you place the order. Please bear in mind that we can accept no liability for the goods if the carrier assures us that delivery was safely made and that the goods were intact. If no one is available to receive goods when the carrier arrives at the delivery address, we reserve the right to recover from you any charges for re-delivery, either to you or back to ourselves.
Please check all goods on delivery, whether dispatched by post, our own transport or if collected by you, and sign for any loss or damage. Please tell us immediately by telephone or email of any loss or damage, and check that we have noted your call.
Please tell us if you have not received your order within seven days and please take note of our reference number for this.
PACKAGING
We use recycled boxes, recycled tissue paper, compostable stickers (oh yes, this is possible!), compostable parcel tape, recycled paper bags and shredded, used paper for our packaging. If there’s anything that you can use again please do, remember, REDUCE, RE-USE, RECYCLE! Also, instead of compliments slip we include a lovely bookmark made from elliepoo paper. Who says that poo can’t be useful and pretty!
CHANGED YOUR MIND? NOT WHAT YOU EXPECTED?
Green apples and elephants offer a returns service for unwanted, unused items that are returned to us in their original, undamaged, condition. If the items are returned to us within 7 days of receipt we will refund the cost of the items, however, we are not able to refund postage costs.. Refunds will be made within 30 days.
If items are returned and refund requested after 7 days from receipt of purchase and up until 14 days after receipt, Green apples and elephants will issue a credit note for the value of these goods, (not including postage costs). The credit note will be issued within 30 days.
Unfortunately, after 14 days from receipt of goods, no refund can be offered.
Here at Green apples and elephants, we check all items individually before they leave us and we go to great lengths to ensure that your purchases arrive with you in perfect condition, (it’s all part of our goal to minimise waste). Please bear in mind that our products are unique and as such there are individual differences between products.. As such there should be no expectation of uniformity in the tableware provided. There are natural variations in colour, pattern and shape and this does not affect their efficiency. We can not replace these items on this basis as the differences add to their charm. However, in the unlikely event that they are received damaged, out of goodwill we will replace these items free of charge. Unfortunately, we can not guarantee that exchanged items will arrive by a guaranteed date (although we will endeavour to meet any pre-advised deadlines- we will advise on an individual basis.) We would appreciate some pictures etc. of damaged packaging, goods etc. to enable us to investigate. In the first instance please contact us via telephone or email, so that we know about the situation as early as possible.
